“Divine G, imprisoned at Sing Sing for a crime he didn’t commit, finds purpose by acting in a theatre group alongside other incarcerated men in this story of resilience, humanity, and the transformative power of art.” I don’t love this as much as others seem to, but it is an undeniably affecting and well acted, true story. It’s very cool that they cast formerly incarcerated men who were involved in this program to be in the movie. This should be streaming early this year.
